You *MAY* be aware that I am partial to an embroidered detail or three.
It’s just something about the bohemian, feminine, girly aspect of multi-coloured stitching that I really, really love. Always have done, always will. Currently I am scoping out eBay for vintage Mexican embroidered sun dresses. If you see any, please let me know.

So when Debenhams asked me to pick my favourite embroidered pieces from their hot-on-the-floor new season collections – I was there faster than you could say ‘cross-stitch.’
For more on the picks, check out my piece on their blog here.
But here is a sneaky peek of one of my favourite looks, from the brand new Studio by Preen collection for Debenhams.
There’s embroidery, mixed with a slightly prim ruffled pinafore, which is the perfect girl-with-hips alternative to dungarees and hands-down one of the most flattering summer dresses out there.

Oh Erica – this pinafore is a beauty!
Stunning look! Can you just come dress me? (oh and my home while you’re at it!)
