COATS I have to tell you about new kidswear brand ABC123 Me – because I LOVE. It’s unisex – which is just as well because the pieces are a little more premium price than high street, so you can pass down to siblings regardless of their gender. But it’s just so cool. I got this green jacket for Lila (in aged 6-7 so it’s oversized, but because of the price I wanted it to last her for a couple of years!) and it looks fantastic, particularly with the cheetah lining. It’s great as a school coat as the uniform colour is green and grey so she had lots of compliments on her first day of reception! And can we ALSO just discuss this sherpa lined denim jacket please?! All the heart eyes.
CUSHIONS Huge love to Marks & Spencer for bringing handira – or Moroccan wedding blankets – to their soft furnishings range. I’ve mentioned my love for these sequinned beauties before, but now you don’t need to travel to the souks to find them. This cushion is a great way to start your collection.
CASHMERE If I had the money, I would buy these slightly oversized v-neck cashmere jumpers in every colour. I love them and lived in their tan and navy versions all last winter. Boden have got it SO right with the fit of this boyfriend style. This dusky pink shade will also work beautifully with navy, tan and grey – as well as softening tougher fabrics like black leather.
CREAM As part of my night skincare regime, I am using these Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules and MAN, I love them. You add them after your serum but before your moisturiser and it’s designed to calm stressed skin, while brightening and repairing the skin overnight. It’s just divine. I’ve been also trying out the Marks & Spencer Formula Sleep Cream, which is launching on the 15th September and you NEED it. It is designed to give the appearance of an uninterrupted eight hour sleep. I will link to it AS SOON as it appears online.
COOL leopard print boots are quite often hard to come by I find. Often the shape’s nice, but the heel is all wrong. Or you might love the print but really don’t like them because they’re way too high. So I was delighted when I spotted these little gems on topshop.com. They’re flat enough to wear every day, but are also a ‘sock’ boot which means they won’t be too baggy around the ankle. Which MEANS cropped skinny jeans will look as good with them, as will cropped wider leg culottes AND midi skirts. Result.
