Twin pockets knitted tunic with wool, Autograph at Marks & Spencer | Wrap knitted A-line skirt with wool, Autograph at Marks & Spencer | Boots, Ted & Muffy | Bag, Topshop (old season, similar here) | Coat, Jigsaw (old season, similar here)
I get it. Sometimes a smart event calls for something more than a dress. You don’t want to pull the whole cocktail-to-a-business meeting thing, but you do want to wear something that lets the world know you know what’s up.
For all of those reasons, say OH HI to my new knitted, totally nailing this season’s 70’s vibe two-piece. It’s from Autograph at Marks & Spencer – and yes, it’s knitted, but my grandma had NOTHING to do with it.
This ensemble is all about cool lines, in an on-trend colour combination that work perfectly together with knee-high boots, or as very useful separates.
I can totally see myself wearing the tunic with jeans, trainers and a camel coat at the weekend.
Also, as someone who is a pear-shape, this combination of fabric and style really works as a flattering office-to-evening ensemble.
(And just FYI, it’s not looking great online, but I have checked with M&S who tell me that in-store are showing high stock levels of both.)

I love, love this. And with knee high boots you dont really need tights right? Tights are what put me off winter skirts. It looks so pretty with the pink too.

I didn’t wear tights with it – might be a bit hot with boots and wool! x

I really like this combination, particularly the boots. The Autograph items appear to be out of stock already – shame!

I checked with Marks & Spencer and they say there’s lots of stock showing in-store if that helps!
