It’s getting cold – which means you can start thinking officially about getting your Del Boy on.
Fake it until you make it – or splash out on the real deal, sheepskin coats are having a real moment.
And they’re the perfect statement coat for when you feel really lazy, because it just doesn’t matter what you wear beneath, these little beauties will steal all the attention anyway.
I’ve spotted a ton of faux sheepskin (known as ‘borg’) jackets around – brilliant for an easy-wear weekend warmer.
And for that totally chic Chloe look, have a look at more expensive (real) patchwork versions which would look stunning over neutral tones.
Here’s the edit of my current favourites.

Oooh, I love this. My mum used to have the most amazing Topshop Sheepskin jacket in the 80s, which I wish she’d hung onto. So stylish and cosy! x

I know – vintage ones are ace. My mum had one too! x

Nice coats, really nice. Especially the Jigsaw and the first Mango ones. Cold weather’s coming. Not so pleasant and not so necessary but what can we do.

Thanks Julia!

Wow, some of these sheepskin jackets are beautiful! Who knew that sheepskin was so chic? I’m looking for a new coat that’s warm and fashionable. I think this might just be the answer. Are the geometrically patched-looking examples dyed sheepskin or a faux material?
Erica
They’re dyed sheepskin as they’re a lot more expensive than the faux materials! There are lots of bargains to snap up in the sales right now!
