It was the ruffle blouse that captured our attention on the Miu Miu catwalk back in February.
And some fashion writers were do desperate to wear it RIGHT NOW that they worked out how to make it themselves.
This season, it’s been the Prairie-meet-Victoriana blouse to wear.
London Fashion Week has been the week to wear. Fashion editor Pandora Sykes, singer Lily Allen and actress Clara Paget have all worn the same blue blouse.

While Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine and Alexa Chung wore the red versions (buy the shirt here).

The cotton poplin blouse sure is pretty, but it isn’t the most purse-friendly purchase.
So here are some that get the look – as well as the real thing – if you fancy trying it yourself.
- Miu Miu at Net a Porter
- Atterley (in the sale)
- Paul by Paul Smith (also available here at ASOS)
- Zara (wear it the wrong way around so the frill is at the front)

OK I’ll be honest, the first image scared me but the Paul Smith version is MUCH more like it, lovely!

Oh I love the Paul Smith version and then I realised why – I had an almost identical styled silk blouse from Jack Wills a couple of years back. Unfortunately … I sold it when someone contacted me to ask if I would sell it as they had been hunting it down for some time. Oh well, it made someone very happy.
