So far, so yawn, right? I mean, EVERYONE knows about M&S. After all, it’s a British institution.
Yes, that’s very true. But in the last week I have worn two Marks & Spencer pieces that have seen a flurry of emails and comments, which has got me wondering whether people are missing those little gems that lurk within the store.
Meanwhile, these sandals have become my most worn item of the summer so far – yet they may have been cast over in favour of more bling offerings in the shoe department had I not needed a flat, neutral sandal in my life. Certainly I’ve had several readers who have bought them because they spotted them on here and have subsequently felt the same as me.
In short, M&S are trying very hard to please everyone – and with that comes a lot of stock and a lot of required editing.
And let’s be honest, sometimes you just want someone to do the hard work for you.
So here it is, The Edited’s five reasons to shop in M&S right now*
