Finding a smart day shoe and working the flatform

Flat shoes are my new jam. Well, not even that new really. I’ve been freelance for a whole six months now so live in trainers or flat boots during the week when I am running around after the kids or racing into town for meetings.

So it’s always great finding a new brand that offers your shoe wardrobe something you haven’t currently got – and in my case it was a day lace-up that I could wear instead of my Stan Smiths.

The ‘Daphne’ from Seven Boot Lane is that shoe for me. You can’t go wrong (ever) with a bit of leopard, but this is a subtle khaki and black suede with a cool, chunky white flatform. Not too flat either, so kind of spongy and trainer-ish under foot – perfect.

Trench coat, Zara (similar here) | Cropped, ripped ‘Maddox’ parallel leg jeans, ASOS | ‘Tilly’ jumper, Boden | Lipstick, Lady Danger from MAC

These particular shoes are due back in stock on March 25th, but if you like them you can leave your details on their website.
