It’s almost Spring. I can feel it in the air. Yes, while it may still be a bit chilly out, the sun’s straining through the clouds and so my mind is turning to warmer weather wear.
And can there be anything fresher than adding a little splash of white or ecru to all that grey, navy and black we’ve worn all Winter? I think not.
My inner bohemian is practically on the floor with excitement at the thought of all the pale lace coming through for the new season.
I absolutely loved the Chloe and Valentino SS15 collections (see more images in my post about it here), so knew it would only be a matter of time before versions trickled onto the high street.
Warehouse have a beautiful, slightly longer in length, Sixties-style long-sleeved top which I will almost certainly be buying. It’s also available in navy, but I love the white version to mix with denim, suede and wide-legged navy trousers.
And Next have several boxy shirt styles that are decidedly more feminine in a gorgeous, white broderie effect and would be a brilliant work buy to update your wardrobe.
But also in Next – HELLO! I love this new-in, folky tasselled number (and check out this top too, not white but so gorgeous).
Pale lace tops are on The Edited Updater list.
