It’s been mainly wet and miserable, but that hasn’t stopped a fair few London Fashion Week attendees from rocking their finest spring ensembles.
From all white (yes – step away from other people / the tube / food / any kind of beverage), to denim on denim on denim (even, on a couple of occasions, quadruple denim), soft shades brightened up the wettest of London days.
Statement coats made simple outfits look instantly chic – a trick I never forget, even when dropping the kids off at school and wearing lounge pants below a great coat. And looking at the myriad ways you could combine tonal separates in different prints and textures makes me want to rummage in my wardrobe and come up with a million new combinations.
Camille Over the Rainbow (below) teamed her Pepto Bismal pink duster with a grey marl sweatshirt. Hedvig from The Northern Light looked stunning in an oversized camel polo neck tucked into a high waisted pink floral skirt (below). While stylist Martha Ward (immediately below) never fails to look chic, mixing girly separates in tonal shades. And by the way, that coat is ASOS.

PS Silver shoes are the perfect partner for all these soft greys – and I spotted a lot on the fashionistas at Somerset House.
