Hello, my name is Erica and I am obsessed with sweatshirts.
Mainly grey, but occasionally navy and often printed.

BOTTOM: J Crew | Isabel Marant for H&M | J Crew
I wear them with lounge pants around the house at the weekend, but also with wide leg trousers and trainers for school drop-offs or meetings. I’ve even worn my plain grey Isabel Marant (bottom middle in shot above) with a black lace skirt to a dinner event.
Sweatshirts have made it out of the sports world and into mainstream fashion, with cool new brands like Etre Cecile (top left and top middle) worn by everyone from founder Yasmin Sewell to models Laura Bailey, Cara Delevinge and presenter Nick Grimshaw.
In short, they have become my go-to top choice on an almost daily basis – when I’m not wrapping up in my sale bargain Zara cashmere that is.
Here are some others I currently have my eye on. Don’t just opt for grey marl – although, they are pretty great.

MIDDLE: Grey embellished, Topshop Unique | Welcome to the jungle, Markus Lupfer at Net A Porter
BOTTOM: Grey marl, J Crew (sale!) | Grey with leather detail, Riyka

I think I have a sweatshirt addiction too – I like buying them but I find I’m not wearing them at the moment as I prefer them in the Spring when it warms up and I don’t need to layer up as much as I do currently. I like the Etre Cecile sweatshirts but just a question – do you find the necklines a little higher to wear than most regular sweatshirts?
Erica
Well we ARE jumper twins Sue! Yes I do find them slightly higher. Also I think go up a size as I’m not a ‘fitted’ sweatshirt fan and they are more snug than others x

I have a bit of a soft spot for a good sweatshirt too, and in particular a raglan sleeve! I’ve just ordered a grey slogan sweatshirt from Bow & Drape, hoping it’s as nice in real life as it looked on the site. Love that Neon sweatshirt of yours, and in Navy too, a nice break from grey!

I’m going to check out that brand!
