But listen up, a grey jumper – whether it’s a crew neck or a polo, cashmere or cotton – is the perfect wardrobe foundation.
Here’s the way I’ve been layering up my grey Gap crew neck, plus some street-style inspiration on how to take it from smart to casual.
Because they will work with the glitziest skirt to the simplest black (or navy) trousers.

I love this Gap grey jumper, I have one in grey and black, but how do you find washing them? I’ve tried low delicate machine wash and hand wash and my jumpers have shrunk both times. I sized up by one size but now wish I’d gone up two sizes!
Love the grey jumper as an outfit basic though, goes with everything!

Grey is a nice color and it goes with absolutely anything in your wardrobe. It’s like the basic white tee that you just can’t have enough of. Simple but definitely versatile!
