Autumnal. I love that word. It means waking up to a lovely centrally heated room and walking outside with crunchy leaves underfoot. Oooh and dinners like sausage and mash, or stew. Yum.
This weekend I’ll be getting my Autumn on in shades of khaki, berry and grey – and nothing says Autumnal more than those colours in this Zara top.
WEARING…

I’m wearing mine with cropped black trousers (similar here), tonal leopard courts (leopard goes with EVERYTHING) and Isabel Marant and Cos necklaces. But work this with some khaki cargo trousers and a slip on trainer for a casual day look. Perfect.
DESIGNING…

The decorator is arriving soon to do the kids bedrooms so I’m planning paint / wallpaper / carpet / furniture logistics at the moment. Check out my Pinterest boards for inspiration on how I’m planning to design them both. Lila’s room is going to be in shades of grey, hot pink and splashes of turquoise, so I could not be more chuffed with this rug find from TK Maxx. It also means I’m going to keep the walls quite plain now, as this rug + a brightly coloured bed + lots of artwork means there will be enough going on.
Here’s some more hot pink and yellow rug inspiration.

TIDYING…
Talking of decorating, I spotted these on Instagram and think they’re cool, stylish and completely genius. Designed by Luluzulu, the Tidy Tubs are huge (60cm x 40cm), made of recycled waste cotton, encourage the kids to clear up after themselves and have their own gold star system.
They’ll be available online soon, both on their website and also on This Modern Life.

Have a lovely weekend everyone x
