If you follow my Instagram feed, you will have noticed that I’m a big fan of Village England – a heritage brand that really supports its British roots, providing beautiful bags that work for real life. And I know – my Cranleigh and Newlyn are on pretty much constant rotation. I’ve also mentioned them before here.

Last week they invited me – along with the lovely Julia from Stylonylon – to visit their pop-up in London’s Floral Street and then visit their East London factory to see the SS15 collection being made.
It was fascinating being able to see all those gorgeous finishing touch details being added – and so brilliant that it’s done here in the UK.
Wait until you see the collection for next Spring, there are so many beautiful new colours and even animal prints in the form of snake. It will all be sold online, as well as in House of Fraser and Anthropologie stores.
A huge thank you to Jules and Eddie for a really lovely day.
Here’s my visit in pictures.
