I am going to start by redefining that great acronym of our time. MILF. That totes hilar (and slightly crude) word to describe any woman who is a) a mum and b) happens to be attractive.
Yes yes, funny it may be, but actually I don’t want to wear low-cut tops and short skirts. Now an old-married woman with two small children, I’m not seeking (if I ever did) the approval of men because of what I wear. That’s not to say I’m letting myself go, but I’d always rather get the style-nod of approval from my female friends and colleagues.
And that’s because I’m a MILF – a Mum In Love with Fashion.

Working in the industry for the best part of twenty years (WHAT!?), you’d think that’d be a no-brainer. But having gone through two maternity leaves and two returns to work – during both periods of which I <completely> lost my sense of style and confidence – it’s taken a while to get my fashion mojo back.
But now – as my bank account will testify – it’s back. I want a collection of perfect crew neck jumpers, have a obsession with grey and navy and check on a daily basis for Cos and ASOS’ new online arrivals.
So if you’re a MILF too, I’ve put together the ultimate, in–fashion-now, off-duty outfit.
Let me know if you’d like MMM to cover a specific function you need a MILF-approved outfit for!
