I once described my love for Moroccan wedding blankets here , even admitting that I may, perhaps, have engineered a fashion trip to Marrakech with intention of stocking up. Maybe.
The other Berber rug style I always think looks super chic is this kind – also known as the Beni Ouhrain.
And I’m not alone, because it seems to be in every interiors magazine and stylish house on Pinterest.
Love the idea of it in a bedroom as you could really cosy up a plain carpet by laying one on top. Plus the monochrome colour-way would work with a colourful or simple palette.
Real Beni Ouhrain are quite expensive, but check out Red Thread Souk for some stunning versions.
And the high street do some great, affordable rugs in the Berber style too.
