On a very, very hot July afternoon this year I went raving…with the kids. You can read all about it in the piece I wrote for the Evening Standard here.
Big Fish Little Fish events organiser – and Nineties rave aficionado Hannah Saunders, says she set up the sessions because she wanted to take her kids to something they could all enjoy together in equal measure.
Hannah says, “It struck me when I had my regular Saturday morning dancing around the living room sessions with my children that I could do this on a larger scale with other like-minded parents.”

With a fully licensed bar, club lighting system and multiple DJs, BFLF offers everything adults would expect from a proper night out — and even has a chill-out room. Except this one is solely for babies and crawlers.
As with the pre-launch, BFLF will be taking over Brixton’s Effra Social later this month – this time with DJ Food headlining. With a craft activity room, as well as lovely snacks from event sponsors Happy Monkey smoothies and Bear nibbles, it really is set to be a great afternoon out.

And BFLF have free entry for one MMM reading family (two adults plus kids), so leave a comment with your favourite ever 90’s rave tune and the best wins the prize!

I was a proper cheesy quaver back in the day.
‘Let me be your fantasy’ by Baby D never failed to get my hands in the air! Never wore a pair of white gloves though.

Liquid – Sweet Harmony.
Would actually be one of my Desert Island Discs. Combination of synth strings, catchy piano break, rolling breakbeat and vocal still gets me reaching for the Vicks!

Is that the same as the Beloved version? *logs onto itunes*
