Way back at the beginning of the year I had quite an exciting email from Debenhams. They wanted to know whether MMM would be interested in teaming up with them to design a special T-shirt for their annual BBC Children In Need charity campaign. Erm, YES!
Alongside the brand’s raft of top designers including Donna & Markus, Frost French and Pineapple, they had also asked TV presenters (and parents) Tess Daly and Jeff Brazier to come up with an original design. I was the only blogger to have been asked. Super chuffed.
The designs are based on that year’s colour themes, dictated by the Beeb and it’s all quite strict. I initially knew I wanted to design something with a touch of Breton, so the fab in-house team at Debenhams helped shape my garbled ideas into something much more cohesive.

I am absolutely delighted with my tee-shirt – even more so knowing the money will go towards such a brilliant charity helping so many children here and internationally.
My own two were also asked to model the tees in a photoshoot with me and Pudsey Bear, which will be seen in store and on the swing-tags. And forever more in our family album.
A sneak peek of our shoot – and my tee-shirt – is below.
All the designs will be in store from next week or you can buy and check them all out online. Please buy – it’s all for charity!

OMG this is brilliant! Will definitely get Will C and the La a t-shirt each. But please stop over-achieving now; it’s making me feel bad about not even being arsed to sew the name label’s in the new school gear! *eats another crisp sandwich*
