Last week I headed to the SS13 press day of premium childrenswear brand AlexandAlexa, which was a feast for the eyes – and a worry for the bank manager.
Beautifully styled, the brand showed off some of the collections they will be selling for next Spring – including designers Stella McCartney Kids, Roksanda Ilincic, Roberto Cavalli and Junior Gaultier.

On the day, CEO Alex Theophanous and Kids Company founder Camilla Batmanghelidjh also announced their latest venture. From March next year, they will collaborate on the first ever Global Kids Fashion Week (GKFW), with a spotlight on premium kids’ fashion, from both established designers as well as emerging names.
Runway shows and performances, informative exhibitions and industry talks will all occur over the three-day schedule. And brilliantly, all ticket sales proceeds to the public show will be donated to the Kids Company charity.
GKFW aims to educate and inspire people about Kids’ fashion – celebrating how it has evolved and thrived over the past five years. More details to follow soon.
In the meantime, here are some more gorgeous things from their press day.
