While London was partying for Jubilee weekend, my entire team – past and present -headed to Fiesole, Tuscany for the dream wedding of our talented make-up artist Lisa and her new husband Jon.
The whole weekend was idyllic and our gorgeous Lisa made the most beautiful bride.
And we hope Team Fash did her proud too, in our mix of sequins, neons, bold maxi dresses and prints. Plus, we all wore high street.
Here’s what we all wore to the most fashionable wedding of the year – plus our top wedding guest style tips.
Mazeltov Lisa and Jon!
From left to right:Fashion stylist CHLOE wears dress, Oasis, colour-block shoes, Office. Her wedding-guest style tip is: “Define your look as ‘this year’ with a pop of neon either on your outfit or accessories.” Fashion Editor TONI wears maxi-dress, Love Label Luxe at Littlewoods, raffia wedges, Topshop, vintage floral headpiece. Her wedding-guest style tip is: “Keep your feet dance-worthy by sticking to wedges over uncomfortable heels.” Stylist ANNIE wears neon dress, Cos, statement gold and neon necklace, Sass & Bide, shoes, Acne, sunglasses, Cheap Monday. Her wedding-guest style tip would be: “Go for a style that suits you, that you feel comfortable in and that you can dance in. But keep flip flops in your bag for dancing properly later!” Fashion writer MELISSA wears black appliqué flower dress, Monsoon, clutch bag with appliqué primrose design, A/W range at Accessorize (not out yet), shoes, New Look. Her wedding guest style tip is: “Dress for your body-shape as well as the trends. A classic LBD is easily updated with appliqué details for this season.’ I’m wearing neon embroidered dress, Asos Salon, vintage beaded Topshop jacket, patent orange M&S clutch bag, nude Topshop sandals. My wedding guest style-tip is to stay true to your own style, don’t try something new for the sake of it and think about comfort – you’ll be standing a lot of the day. Associate Fashion Editor SASKIA wears green maxi dress, Topshop, vintage printed jacket, Kate Moss for Topshop, leopard clutch and black wedges, both Topshop, rings, Primark and Freedom at Topshop. Her wedding guest style tip is: “Go for a maxi-dress in a bold colour and then you can accessorise however you want. I’ve gone for mismatched prints and turquoise jewellery.”
