So as this amazing, incredible and downright knackering nine month pregnancy business draws to a close (THREE DAYS TO GO!), I have been thinking about the wardrobe must-haves I could not have been without.
This is my second pregnancy so I worked out a lot of the basics first time around. Much – as ever – depends on your own style, body shape and budget.
I’m a high street girl, so my personal favourite stores included Cos for the first few months, Topshop maternity for cute tops and party frocks and ASOS for basics, such as leggings and cotton layering tees.
Unless you have oodles of cash to splash (not likely considering the staggering amount the baby will need), only pay out for bras – which you will need to be measured for a couple of times – and jeans if you love your denim. Cheap pregnancy jeans, I have learned to my cost, are an uncomfortable nightmare.
Here are my top ten maternity must-haves, picked for style, comfort and value.
