A table setting fit for a King…or a Prince, anyway (sponsored by House of Fraser)

Who doesn’t love a wedding? But anyone else gone a little Royal Wedding mad?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot on Saturday May 19th, in front of their friends, family – and the whole world.

I have friends who are actually counting down the days and who have actually written ‘Harry and Meghan’s wedding’ in their diaries, as if they are close personal friends who have been invited!

In fact, we have friends coming to stay for the weekend and we will be having a bit of a bash (any excuse for champers and picnic food!). But it made me think, there must be SO many other people planning the same – so what an opportunity to show off a table scheme fit for a King. Or a Prince, at least.

This month, for my regular partnership with House of Fraser, I have been looking at their dinnerware – crockery, cutlery and serving dishes that wouldn’t look out of place at the palace.

I have chosen a mixture of their own brand lines, including Biba and Linea – but kept the regal gold theme throughout.

I personally love to mix up china, so it doesn’t look too formal – and this was easy to achieve because there were so many lovely designs to choose from.

Make a pitcher of Prosecco Mimosas and you’re good to go – because we all need to start off the wedding in style!

Tableware details, everything from House of Fraser: Glass and beaded charger plates, Biba | Gold ‘Odette’ cutlery, Biba | Starburst dinnerware, Biba | Palm dinnerware, Biba | Gold napkin rings, Linea | Gold beaded runner, Biba | Gold serving spoons, Biba | Imperial decanter, Biba | Lillia glassware, Linea |

This is a paid partnership with House of Fraser, but all words, styling and photography is my own work.

OOOO I love these plates. Gold looks so nice with pink. Adore! Btw, we have four hotels in Manhattan. You should totally stop by one day! ✿
