If you don’t recognise the lady above, meet Leandra Medine.
She’s the ÜBER-blogger behind the brilliant Man Repeller, fashion week favourite and style crush to over a million Instagram followers (if you combine her personal and professional accounts).
Oh and she’s also the woman responsible for one of this summer’s runaway trends – the cold-shoulder top.
Take a look at the evidence – above and below. All of these shots have been taken over a period of several years and one thing is FO’ SHO, Leandra loves showing off some shoulder.
With a feminine insouciance, it’s easy to see why this style has already been worn by a gazillion fashionistas this season.
But the cold shoulder, previously known as the Bardot, is the top that women with boobs dread coming back into fashion. I mean, strapless? Go without? The answer, by the way, is YES, go strapless. There are brilliant http://ed-trio.com/buy-levitra-online styles out there and I recommend this one for smaller boobs and this one if you’re bigger.
Without doubt, it’s still one of the prettiest summer styles you can wear. And whatever your age or size, showing off a sneaky peek of collarbone and slither of bare back is ultra flattering and very sexy.
Peasant styles abound, but if you’re wary of flashing those bingo wings (hello! I hear you!), then opt for a minimal style with blouson or kaftan sleeves.
And don’t just think about wearing it with shorts, skirts or trousers – although they are obviously perfect. A cold-shoulder beneath a wide leg strappy jumpsuit, pair of dungarees or a strappy dress feels modern and cool.
Here are six of my favourites.
And when you fall in love with them, just remember to blame Leandra.
