Charity begins at home, right? Wrong. Charity begins with a kick-ass designer tee shirt collaboration, obviously.

OK, so I joke. But this year’s TK Maxx partnership with Comic Relief sees five of fashion’s biggest names designing limited edition T-shirts, where profits from each sale go towards helping people at home and in Africa.

Anya Hindmarch, Karl Lagerfeld, Diane von Furstenberg, Henry Holland and Matthew Williamson have all designed a quirky collection of tees with quotes, including the Oscar Wilde quote by Anya that I’m wearing.

So far, so good. And last year the store raised a whopping £3.7 million through sales of their Stella McCartney tees and Emma Bridgewater homewear, so we know it makes a difference. 40% goes on grants for the UK, while 60% goes towards projects in Africa.

Check out the entire collection here, modelled this year by Lily Allen.
