If you’re a regular reader of MMM, you’ll probably be aware of my obsession with checking the ‘New In’ sections on websites such as Zara, Topshop and ASOS.
Well, I have to keep on top of things, right?
For quite a while now, ASOS White has been top of my checking-in agenda. If you haven’t discovered it, then let me explain.
It’s the brand’s slightly edgier collection so the pieces are much more pared back but with a ‘fashion’ element – a fantastic mix of oversized boyfriend cashmere knits, really cool, slightly oversized dresses that you could throw on and look equally great wearing with your Stan Smiths or a pair of strappy heels and the leather pieces are brilliant. Really brilliant.
I earmarked a really lovely navy textured cocoon coat and some navy blue leather joggers – yes, leather joggers.
I wasn’t sure what they’d be like on, but they looked like they had a very happy mix of comfort, style and practicality – something I could throw on with trainers, drag the kids to school (you know what I mean) and then jog on (well they are ‘joggers’) to a meeting or two.
Yes I know they’re expensive, but I can honestly say the joggers are some of the comfiest trousers I’ve ever worn – plus I love the cropped, tapered leg which makes them feel more current. Also, they are real leather, none of your PU business.
I’ve styled the whole thing here with my Helen Moore ‘Vixen’ scarf for a pop of colour.
PS I am very excited by the launch on Monday of the ASOS White x Le Coq Sportif collaboration. Available in navy pony skin or a metallic grey, the navy trainers have my name ALL OVER them.
Thanks to ASOS for their help with this post.
Have a great weekend everyone x
