MMM: Growing up and growing out of toddler beds

My son is tall. Not freakishly tall, but definitely on the tall scale for his age (3 years and 4 months).

It means that his amazing, super-cute, neeee naaaaa toddler-sized bed will very soon be a little bit on the snug side.

It’s a fact made all the more apparent than our recent holiday, when he slept quite happily in a full-size double bed and didn’t seem that tiny. *Sob* where has my baby gone!?

Anyway, thinking ahead – or more specifically, what can I buy next – we really need to consider the single bed option.

I have been massively inspired by the brightly painted metal and wooden beds I have http://www.healthynewhair.com/buy-propecia-online/ seen all over Pinterest and think this might be the way to go.

Gelato-coloured, metal bed frames are a bit more chic than the self-assembly styles you can buy online, plus they would make a real statement.

Find a frame on eBay, clean it up, spray or paint it in the colour I want and bingo – a brilliant bed for my cool little dude.

Here’s some of my inspiration:
