Hit by a sudden pang of nostalgia this week. Saw a set of Russian Dolls and it reminded me of the classic bright red wooden set I had when I was little. The same set I ruined when I filled them with water.
And now I am seeing these little nesting ladies everywhere.
The Russian dolls – called Matroyshka – are a classic design print. But I absolutely love the modern twist Sketch Inc have put on these, called ‘Little Neons.’
Meg Mathews, you know, the rock-chick-turned-designer, has collaborated with interiors store Dwell.
Love these storage boxes by Alexia Claire:
These cool wall decals from Spin Collective would brighten up a corner:
And this quirky set of four pictures would make great artwork in a nursery or playroom:
I can count to ten in Russian. Who knew?
