MMM: Braid-y bunch, the new ‘do to do.

Piling my hair on top of my head in a messy bun is as exciting as it gets these days. It sometimes looks kind of cool. But in reality every fibre of my being is telling the world that with two little ones to look after I-HAVEN’T-GOT-TIME-TO-WASH-THESE-DAYS-NEVER-MIND-DO-MY-HAIR.

So me suggesting we all copy Scarlett Johansson’s cool braided look from The Avengers premiere last week is ridiculous, right?

But actually, it’s REALLY easy and it’s a way of getting another day (or two) out of hair that really does need a wash.

As Scar-Jo was wearing Valentino, she also went for the hair-do seen on the Valentino catwalk, created by French hair guru Guido Palau.

It’s called the Dutch crown braid – or halo plait – and if you know how to do a normal plait, you’ll work it out.

If not, there are about a million how-to’s on YouTube. Check them out here and get braiding.
